Biografía
NECROPHOBIC es una banda de Blackened Death Metal formada en Estocolmo en 1989, en sus comienzos la banda fundió su sonido en auténtico Swedish Death Metal, y así viene reflejado en sus primeras demos, como «Slow Asphyxiation» y Unholy Prophecies«, así como en el EP «The Call» y su álbum debut «The Nocturnal Silence».
A partir de ahí la banda fue incorporando a su música influencias Black Metal de bandas como Dissection o Sacramentum, que fusionaban ambos estilos a la perfección, cambiando incluso el logo original de la banda por el que vemos en la actualidad, hoy en día su música recoge ambos géneros, de la formación original en la actualidad sólo está el batería Joakim Sterner, hoy día disponen de un total de 10 álbumes siendo su último trabajo « In the Twilight Grey«, editado en 2024 por Century Media.
