Biografía
DARK FUNERAL es una banda sueca de Black Metal, formada en el año 1993 por Micke «Lord Ahriman» Svanberg y David «Blackmoon» Parland. Habiendo completado su formación con la integración de Joel «Draugen» Andersson y Paul «Themgoroth» Mäkitalo, grabaron su primer EP en el año 1994 y posteriormente su primer álbum de estudio bajo el sello No Fashion titulado The Secrets of the Black Arts y editado en 1996. Ese fue el comienzo de Dark Funeral, junto a Marduk son, sin duda, los que portan el estandarte del Black Metal en Suecia. En 2022 lanzan por Century Media su nuevo álbum «We Are the Apocalypse».
